Epoxy resins
Epoxy resins are oligomers that contain epoxy groups and are capable of creating cross-linked polymers under the influence of hardeners.
They are produced by interreaction of epichlorohydrin and diphenylolpropane and contain at least 2 epoxy groups in their molecule.
There are bisphenol A, F epoxy resins, epoxyphenol, epoxy-novolac resins, EP resins modified with halogens and siloxanes.
The most common epoxy resins are the products of epichlorohydrin polycondensation with phenols, often with bisphenol A (epoxy resin ED 20, produced in Russia).
