Epoxy resins
Epoxy resins are oligomers that contain epoxy groups and are capable of creating cross-linked polymers under the influence of hardeners. They are produced by interreaction of epichlorohydrin and diphenolpropane, and they contain at least 2 epoxy groups in their molecule.
There are epoxy resins based on:
- bisphenol A
- bisphenol F
- epoxyphenol
- epoxy-novolac resins
- EP resins
- modified with halogens and siloxanes
